KitchenAid KFP750 – Best Food Processor
This KitchenAid KFP750 12-Cup Food Processor has a powerful yet very quiet motor and very well built design overall. This is definitely the best food processor you can get. Well, I understand why this food processor has received 5 stars rating in consumer report and cook illustrated – personally, I think this is among the best food processors I have tested so far.

KitchenAid KFP750WH 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor
Great Motor And Large Bowl
It has a very powerful and quiet motor. A 12 cup work bowl is about the largest you can get in this class of food processors. With 700 W powered motor, it is surprisingly quiet – maybe it’s because of the durable sealed housing too.
Good Cutting Design
With a variety of cutting blades (slicing, grating, chopping etc), it’s so handy. Based on my testing result, the chopping and slicing is very even and consistent with no motor trouble at all. This machine is definitely very efficient in performing delicate (such as shredding vegetable leaves) or harder (like chopping nuts) tasks.
Another point on the scoreboard is the ability to beat batter and make dough. Unlike other machines with only one bowl, this KitchenAid comes with smaller bowls with its own blades – perfect for tiny tasks like chopping fresh herbs for garnishing.
The accessories case is compact and the contents neatly arranged for easy retrieval.
However …
As you know this machine comes with 2 bowls for your convenience. However, other users stated that there is a leakage from the mini-bowl when you try to put it into the big bowl.
Anyway, I think this minor issue shouldn’t discourage anyone from buying this machine.
Another obvious grouse would be the bulk of this machine, although it’s due to the high powered motor. There is a danger of over processing some mixtures as the blade does not stop at the same time when the “stop” button is pressed, hence the timing may be a bit out. If you think this fault affects the result, then you can learn to improvise by processing at more intervals with shorter pulses.
Best Food Processor
Personally, I think this is a great machine! When choosing a best food processor, I value the importance of its motor and the cutting design. I will check whether the motor is durable and powerful enough to handle tough jobs. And most importantly, it has to cut or chop things evenly. Eventually, this is the main reason why we buy a food processor in the first place. Well, I do like a storage box for the additional components which are dishwasher safe. In fact, everything must be easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
Anyway, if you are thinking about getting this KitchenAid food processor, it comes with 1 year warranty, weighs 24 lbs and 15 1/8 inches and available in empire red, white and Onyx black colors in Amazon.
I cook a lot and I really like this powerful, quiet and well designed KitchenAid food processor! For anyone looking for a food processor, this one definitely should be right on top of the list!

KitchenAid KFC3100WH is the best food processor for small size jobs.
The reverse spiral action of the blade produces uniformed sized meats, nuts, vegetables, fruits or whatever ingredient put in. The separation of the compartments into a wet and dry section where you add in flavorings while processing something is a nice touch.

KitchenAid KFC3100 Chef Series Food Chopper
The electronic pulse pad enables you to control the speed and intensity of the processor’s action; meaning you can determine the size, texture of the ingredient being processed.
Being in the class of compact food processors, this one has a cord storage base, and does not require much counter space. Safety is taken into consideration as the blades won’t function until the lid is in place and locked.
Pitting KitchenAid KFC3100WH against the Cuisinart DLC2, however it did not seem to measure up to the latter. Both machines produced rather equal results in chopping things like onions, nuts or breadcrumbs. Apparently Cuisinart chops onions better but it could be due to how one does it. KitchenAid would produce chopped onions with fewer pulses and minced onions with more pulses.
With making spreads, pates, or purees, Cuisinart pulls the ingredients down the center and into the blade quicker than KitchenAid, which had larger chunks remaining on top. In terms of accessibility, you must turn the KitchenAid’s blade numerous times before it drops in, while Cuisinart’s drops on easily.
You need to remove the lid before you can lift of the bowl on KitchenAid while Cuisinart’s bowl and lid detaches like an assembly. You can remove the blade of Cuisinart’s processor without touching the food, with the extended handle of the blade.
Compared to Cuisinart, KitchenAid looks lost in the processing softer food category, but it excels in producing other things, and is perfect for small portions and I would recommend it if you rarely want to make soft food, and you are looking for something storage and cost effective. It could get a little noisy during operations though, but a small glitch in a machine that helps a lot is forgivable.

No more cutting, slicing, mashing, grating or grinding anything manually ever again, this only applies if you have a food processor, my friends have been complaining about how their food processors are so big and take up so much space, while others have been saying that theirs are too small and too weak to handle tough ingredients, so I was entirely puzzled and took it to myself to find the most versatile and capable processor which does not evict other appliances of your counter just because of its size.
My search has led me to the Cuisinart DLC-10S, being quite acquainted with Cuisinart I just jumped right into buying this food processor, I didn’t give it much thought aside the regular reading of online comments and details on the site, I ordered it on Amazon for a cheap $100, that was also why I didn’t give much thought into it, since it was considerably affordable.

Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic 7-Cup Food Processor
In the Box
I found everything which I had been expecting to find in the box, the steel blade for chopping and making any dry ingredients into a powdery heap, the dough blade for kneading dough (this was a first), the slicing disc for slicing obviously, and the shredding disk. It also comes with a little paddle like spoon for stirring and the pushing thing. The unit also comes with a compact lid to replace the feed tube; this is great if you don’t like the unit towering over your counter. Another thing about the feed tube is that you can remove the top cap which will let you place even more things inside it, this lets me get more done in a shorter amount of time, what a thrill.
The design of the entire thing looks okay, not too bland or too extravagant either; it’s just one of those things you expect to see in a kitchen, all white with some stainless steel attachments and a see through jar. So after setting up the Cuisinart DLC-10S (which was not difficult at all) I began putting it to good use, first with my personal food processor test, the celery slice.
Performed Well
Here I am looking for even and uniformed slices, and also to test the ability of the unit and its slicing disk. So I pushed down 3 sticks of celery all at once and it turned out great, but I was not impressed yet, so I traded the celery for some potatoes, and we all know what a pain these starchy tubers can be to have them in uniformed slices, so I pushed down a large one and the slices came out thin, but some were a little disfigured.
Now the bread kneading appliance was something very new to me, so I decided to make a simple wheat based dough and instead of pounding and kneading it myself I used the processor, and it was kneading away quite well, I did notice that the motor was having a little strain from the tough dough, but in the end it came out quite well.
So the best part about this processor which I like is the switch, although it’s not the two large paddle like ones which they have on the older processors, one for on and one for off, you have a small paddle, on at the top, off at the middle and pulse at the bottom, I did wish off was at the top so that when I have the unit running I can just push it down a little more to initiate pulse.
Overall Cuisinart DLC-10S is an affordable food processor and the size is not all that big, this is suitable for those living in a regular sized home and need something to speed up the process of cutting chopping and kneading.

Although a little on the heavy side, it is due to the large motor, which operated rather silently compared to some other machines which are noisy because of a big motor. I like the juicer accessory as I can get my daily dose of juice, without having to buy a separate machine.

KitchenAid KFPW760OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor
Faster
With KitchenAid, I can make my own potato chips, fast, healthier and the slicing ability is amazing- it slices an average of 6 potatoes in a minute. If grating is a chore to you, then this baby will fix your fear in no time as it grates with virtually no mess and very minimal bruising. While some machines have the tendency to turn shreds of vegetable into mush instead, KitchenAid deftly produces what you expect shreds to be.
To get kids to consume their vegetables, it is advisable to chop them into small pieces so it remains less noticeable, but chopping vegetables takes time and can be quite messy. Using this machine, the vegetables get chopped fast, yet maintaining its freshness.
Great Customer Service
In finding more information about this device, I listened to people and read reviews and one striking criteria was KitchenAid’s after sales service, which had many people raving good reviews. One customer said her husband “wrecked” the slicing disks but KitchenAid replaced it free, no questions asked while another said she got a machine from someone else, which was missing the bowl and the cord frayed. The company actually sent someone over with brand new replacements! Talk about efficient customer service.
Small downside to this fantastic product is the accessories packaging and the use of the smaller work bowls with the work blades provided, as it would be nice to use the bowls with a slicer or grater blade as well.

Now when you are looking for a large food processor you want something that can handle a lot of things in its container before you have to empty it to make room for more, apparently this Cuisinart DLC-2014N is up to that challenge, having a 14 cup capacity you can be certain that it is double of what your regular sized one would have.

Cuisinart DLC-2014N PowerPrep Plus 14-Cup Capacity Food Processor
Now a large cup size would not is not something you want to base a food processor on (or a woman for that matter), even with all that capacity, if it fails to perform as well as the regular ones then it would be totally worthless, just a big jar. So here is the verdict on the Cuisinart DLC-2014N after I have put it through more than its fair share of work load.
Versatile and Good Performance
The unit came with 4 attachments, a slicer, grater, and two blades; also a spatula and the tube like thing which I think is also for stirring. So after assembly and clearing some stuff off the counter I started to get this new processor going, this has buttons which reminds me of the touch ones I have on my microwave, they have the regular off on and pulse and an extra button called dough, and according to the name I think this is obviously a special function which is for kneading dough, not surprised at all I was right, it kneads pretty well.
The feeding tube is really wide, which allows for a number of things to go in at once, being the time stricken person I am I usually shove as much as I can into the processor so I can get things over with sooner, lucky for me with this one there is still more space inside to cope with the massive input trough the feed tube, 14 cups with a wide opening is really something that can reduce the time it takes for me to process.
The motor runs fairly smooth, even when I hold down the pulse button it doesn’t jerk neither does the speed and power fluctuate, this offers me a uniform slice of capsicum, I even use it for tomatoes. The large jar is also dishwasher safe, so after each use I just toss it in the dish washing machine to get a well cleaned jar ready for another use.
This set comes with an extra how to video from Cuisinart, too bad I don’t have an ancient VCR lying around my house to play it, wish they gave it in a more modern and acceptable disc format. There is also a collection of recipes included, which lets you utilize the processor to its full potential.
A Few Downsides
However even as big as the Cuisinart DLC-2014N may be, it seems that it does not feel entirely durable, the jar does feel like it’s made from tough plastic, but I have had numerous appliances made from the same type of plastic and had them break after a few bumps here and there, the buttons are also not that appealing, I honestly didn’t like them, I would prefer a more secure feeling paddle over these buttons. The unit itself is of course large but there were places where it could have been smaller, like maybe provide a removable lid for when you do not want to use the feed tube.
So overall Cuisinart DLC-2014N is a good large food processor, also for the price I wouldn’t complain about it too much, but if you were going to complain then you should consider buying a Cuisinart custom 14 which would definitely cost a little more but works better.

Among the many other food processors within it’s price range, I would say that the Black & Decker FP2500 PowerPro Wide-Mouth 10-Cup Food Processor sets the bar high in terms of quality and performance.

Black & Decker FP2500 PowerPro Wide-Mouth 10-Cup Food Processor
My friend Ernie has this in his kitchen. He uses this food processor to shred cheeses, usually pounds and pounds at a time (Ernie loves his cheeses). I’ve seen the Black & Decker FP2500 PowerPro Wide-Mouth 10-Cup Food Processor in action when Ernie was doing his end-of-the-month cheese shredding. It works tirelessly and it shreds beautifully. The key thing to do, according to Ernie, is to let the machine do its work and not force feed it.
This can only mean one thing; the disk blades are extremely effective. The other blades works well too! They will puree tomatoes and knead a pizza dough in a jiffy without any unnecessary mess and any extra work. All you need to do is put in the required ingredients, relax and let the machine do all the work for you.
The extra large ‘mouth’, which is the main feature of the Black & Decker FP2500 PowerPro, makes adding food through it easier and less messier. Now, you don’t need to keep on opening the top lid to get bigger things in; all you need to do is gently tamp it through the ‘mouth’.
However, from what I can see, there might be a difficulty in cleaning between the rim of the lid and the rim where the ‘mouth’ meets the main section of the lid. Tiny pieces of food may get trapped there and turn nasty and we don’t want that now, do we? Perhaps a bristle brush will do the trick?
If you want to get the Black & Decker FP2500 PowerPro Wide-Mouth 10-Cup Food Processor, it’s easily available on Amazon.com. Best part of it is that it’s at 11% off and shipping of the appliance is free!

Any single guy or girl who cooks at home must have this cute little gadget! The Black & Decker HC306 may be small – it only has 1.5 cup capacity – but it is not a flimsy toy. This electric chopper can save you a lot of fuss when cooking for one.

Black & Decker HC306 1.5-Cup One-Touch Electric Chopper
Fast, Easy and Light
The Black & Decker HC306 is so easy to use that it is practically foolproof. It has only one, big, round button that is hard to miss. Just pop that onion you want to chop into the bowl, lock it into position, and press the button once, twice…and you’re done. Yes, the blades are sharp enough to chop an onion in two pulses, so don’t press for too long unless you want to puree something like tomatoes.
Clean up is just as easy. The parts of this chopper that needs cleaning are dishwasher safe but to retain the sharpness of the blades for a longer time, hand washing is recommended. Rinsing the bowl and blades under the tap after use is no trouble at all.
Not for Everything, But Good Enough
This little fellow can handle green pepper, garlic, breadcrumbs, hard cheese, nuts, and even meat. But it doesn’t handle leafy veggies well, and the little motor will get hot if you run it for too many times in a row. Let it cool for a few minutes and it’ll be ready to chop again.
It also doesn’t have a rubber tight seal between the lid and the bowl, so there will be a little leakage when you puree or process stuff that is wet. The puree doesn’t really come out very fine either, but then, this is a chopper not a mill, after all.
I would say those are very minor drawbacks that shouldn’t stop anyone from getting this chopper. I would recommend the Black & Decker HC306 to anyone who wants to get little chopping tasks done without bringing out the monster of a food processor. For a little more than $10, this chopper certainly gives a lot of value!
